Back in the old days of the U.S. military, they used to give rigourous tests on soldiers to make sure they could serve in the military to the fullest extent of their duties. These tests also included character tests and psychological ones. You think cops before being allowed to join the police academy, should be forced to undergo these tests? I mean a major system of tests that will better root out the bigots, crackpots, psychos, or mentally fragile. From the cops that can actually do their job correctly, and eventually make detective with a close to spotless record.
