This happens all the time in police departments around the country. Reporting rampant violations is deemed as "going against the brotherhood". Cops act like they're the mob. And they can beat and kill people. And then drop you from the "family" for ratting. They forget their job is to uphold the law. Not be vigilantes or worse than the criminals they arrest. They're more concerned with the blue wall of silence than justice for all.
