You may not have realized this but you should never talk to the police. As a matter of fact, most Americans freely talk to the police whenever they are pulled over or whenever the police question them.

This video features Mr. James Duane, a former defense attorney who is a now a professor at Regent Law School. He talks about your Fifth Amendment rights.

This is a MUST for every American to watch.

If you can avoid talking, then that is one thing. However, a lot of the time you have to talk at least a little in order to avoid charges of obstruction or making things worse because you are not cooperating.

You have to answer random question if they ask but any decently smart person knows how to dance around this sort of thing. I don't know anyone stupid enough to just start rambling to the cops. You'd have to be a total pu$$y to get that scared by a cop who's simply pulling you over. To where you'd just start becoming super chatty.

What the biggest shame in this whole situation is the fact that we have to intentionally dodge questions. These are the people who are 'supposed' to be protecting us from harm, yet they're the ones doing the harm in many situations. It's quite pitiful.

In NYC dodging questions is so fking easy because everyone here is slick. But you have people from out of town who get hassled by the cops and they just start spilling the beans. Total amateurs. ;D
