Lakewood police say an officer shot and killed a female driver who tried to drive off with the officer's arm pinned in the SUV.

A bit excessive. I see his point, and the position he was in. But I think I'd have to be under extreme duress to shoot a woman dead. Even if she is dragging me along the side of her SUV. And how does ones arm get pinned inside an SUV? If it was caught in the door, couldn't he have just let go?
