The sad thing is videos like this bleed into the age culture in America and that will determine the sides that are taken. The older suburban Americans will side with the cops. They were ex hippie protestors themselves. Or have always hated protestors. They also think young people these days are out of control and need a good billy club to the face every now and then.

Younger, urban residing people will side with Occupy Wall Street and the protestors. On the grounds that free speech shouldn't be crushed by fascists with badges. Politics aside, they have a right to protest.
