No doubt the police officer was out of control, even his co-workers were aware of it and turned him in. The cop must have been ready to retire or obviously looking for another job. In today's world someone always has a camera phone or phone with video capabilities. Any one not aware of this fact, especially one who is supposed to hold a position of authority, is a buffoon.
More than likely he won't get his job back, or at least he shouldn't.

This is just off the wall. He took off his badge?! He hope he doesn't get his job back. There's probably more incidents that poor citizens had to be subjected to but nobody knew about it.

That's just silly, why would he want to give up his uniform advantage?
It's good that his fellow officers turned him in. Not all cops are bastards. There's just a few bad apples make the other five percent look bad.

This is amusing! An officer removing badge to show who he really is? I think some policemen are surely taking matters too far. All in all the matter remains a big shame to the force.
