Biography:

It seems that I have always known that I would, in some shape form or fashion, end up becoming a writer. My passion for the written word started as a scatter brained prepubescent that did not even understand girls, let alone know what I wanted to do as my life's work; the former may still remain true, but I digress. So, as I wondered along aimlessly in this preadolescence haze, something did change; I read Homer's Odyssey.

I can remember being engulfed while reading it, and realizing that I had read dozens of books up to that point, but never had I truly 'read' a book in my life. I still remember lying on the top bunk thinking to myself, “Wow! Everything that I have listened to or seen, thus far, pales in comparison to what I am now reading.” It is from that moment, in a rich internally substantial way, that the spirit for the passion of writing, Der Geist Schreiben, supplanted all others as my life's premiere desire.
