APPLETON — The 61-year-old man shot to death Friday during an armed confrontation with a police officer had threatened another city employee 12 years ago.

Keith Gabriel, who owned the home at 120 E. Spring St. where he was shot, had a series of complaints lodged against him with the city over years for problems with his home.


Oddly enough, do we even know if this dudes gun was actually loaded? Yeah, he's a nut for doing fireworks in August but usually cops aren't supposed to fire upon a person unless they are fired upon first. It's like he's armed so I shot him. But what if the gun wasn't loaded?
