Pussy Riot flees Russia

So this is the all-female rock group who in Russia recently held an anti-Putin concert of sorts at a famous Russian religious site. They were arrested for the act, and sentenced to two years breaking rocks. But apparently, two members of the group have fled the country in an attempt to beat the rap! story


I say good for them. I just hope that one that stayed behind doesn't "disappear" or something. You know how Russia can be sometimes.

Putin should step in and show some mercy, if he has any

I'm pretty sure that won't happen. He's the one who influenced their overall verdict I'm sure. If Putin had mercy, these girls wouldn't have been on trial in the first place. Basically, the crux of their offense was holding a concert of sorts at a religious area. I think if they hadn't done that, perhaps. This would've just went away as a story. But they obviously don't trust Putin, hence why they've fled Russia. He could have them killed KGB style while they're in prison for all they know.
