    Exclamation Federal Judge Approves Reform Plan for Seattle Police Department

    U.S. District Judge James Robart said he wants the settlement modified to give him a greater role in the selection of a court-appointed monitor and more information on how the agreement is working as it progresses.

    This is a step in the right direction. Now we just have to sit back and wait and see if these reforms ever come to fruition. The police will undoubtedly try and find a way around this somehow. Thus, that'll be the next battle. Which will probably end up in court. Either way, it'll be a long while before things get any better for the citizenry of Seattle.
