A state judge Wednesday lectured a pair of prosecutors for not disclosing that an undercover Austin detective purchased and assembled components of an arm-locking device, turning it over to Occupy protestors facing felony charges for using it while blocking a Port of Houston entrance.

State District Judge Joan Campbell told the prosecutors she was "floored" that the role of an Austin police detective has not been disclosed in the December protest, noting the trial was set for next week.

The prosecutors obviously were working on behalf of the police to get these OCW people locked up but man. Doesn't this say a lot about the system? You can imagine if this case turns out like this, what else happens when cops kinda-sorta assist people in protests as UC's. And then things get out of control and said protestors end up arrested and put on trial.
