Cops are looking for an armed robber who stole a livery cab driver’s wallet in the Bronx.

The suspect got in at 181 St. and University Ave. at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, the NYPD said.

As the cab headed up University, he pulled out a gun and ordered the driver to hand over his wallet and other property.

The robber then jumped out and fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in nabbing the suspect, described as a 6-foot-tall black male between 18 and 25 years old who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt at the time.

Cabbie's are some of the hardest working people in the city man. Always makes me shake my head when I hear of one being robbed or assaulted.
