I think sometimes these incidents are unavoidable because people have all sorts of health issues. But I also have seen officers go way too far in restraining people. In the end, this is just a sad tragedy. But, perhaps cops should try and show a gentler hand if the person being taken into custody tells them or alerts them of any health issues. Problem is, that rarely if ever, happens.
