Auto-theft investigators arrested a Royal Oaks man Thursday and found three stolen vehicles on his property, the Sheriff's Office reported.
Members of a multi-agency, auto-theft unit went to 198 Hidden Valley Road about 3 p.m. with an arrest warrant for Martin Marroquin, 39.
A license on a vehicle at the residence matched a stolen vehicle, and investigators obtained a search warrant.
They found three stolen vehicles and a fourth vehicle previously involved in a hit-and-run case, deputies said.
Marroquin was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, operating a chop shop, four counts of possessing stolen property and committing a crime while on bail in another grand theft case.
This guy was out on bail and was working at a chop shop lol. NOT SMART friends!
