Read the story, sounds like a failed suicide attempt, not sure where police brutality comes in on this one. At least the story gives no indication of brutality because it says the officers that responded were "unarmed." That's a little bizarre though because usually when police are called to a residence, or called to any situation they are always armed.

I'm guessing as he tryed to shoot himself in the head it is a failed suicide attempt, but if you was going to do i wouldn't get the police on my tail and then it fails.
